Rain Maker
Rain Maker is a 2D arcade game about cloud seeding: you aim a chemical launcher at passing clouds and make them rain over three zones — each with a different thirst.
Forest needs a lot of water. Farm needs a moderate amount. City needs just a little.
Give a zone the right amount of rain and its satisfaction climbs. Over-water it and it drains. Let it run dry and it drains too. Keep every zone alive and you clear the run.
## HOW TO PLAY
Mouse only — no keyboard needed except F11 and ESC.
- Hold LEFT click — Rain Agent: makes a cloud condense and rain (there is a short delay, so lead your target)
- Hold RIGHT click — Split Agent: breaks a cloud into smaller pieces (they can merge again)
- F11 — fullscreen
- ESC — pause
Clouds come in different sizes, and bigger clouds carry more water. They drift in at random speeds and the wind keeps changing, so plan which cloud you want to fall on which zone — not just where to click.
## THREE WAYS TO PLAY
- **Casual** — the baseline run. Learn the rhythms, chase a better rank (C / B / A / S).
- **Challenge** — a random scenario each run. Drought, flash floods, summer storms, gusty winds, thunderstorm chains... each one changes the decision you have to make. Nine scenarios, separate records for every one of them.
- **Endless** — no cloud limit. The difficulty climbs wave after wave: zones want more water, dry out faster, and clouds arrive slower. Nobody survives forever — the question is how far you get.
## A NOTE ON THE CLOUDS
Clouds have mass, moisture and intent. A dry cloud ignores your rain agent. A storm cloud dumps twice as long as a normal one — let it rain over the forest, never over the city. In a thunderstorm, a raining cloud pulls its neighbours into rain with it, up to three generations deep.
